A friendly reminder: Assembly President-elect nominations close 12 April 2024.
This is a friendly reminder that nominations for the Assembly President-elect close on 12 April 2024. Please access nomination forms and information by clicking on the relevant buttons.
The next President-elect of the Uniting Church in Australia will be elected at the 17th Assembly meeting in July 2024.
The President-elect will be installed as President at the 18th Assembly and serve from 2027-2030. A key role in the life of the Church, the President gives spiritual leadership, encouragement and counsel to the Church and represents the Church when required.
Nominations for President-elect can be made by:
- a Synod,
- a Presbytery,
- a regional or national committee of the UAICC, or
- two members of the 17th Assembly.
