Just over 60 years ago, Rev Sir Alan Walker, then Wesley Mission Superintendent, founded Lifeline, the world’s first centralized 24/7 telephone crisis support service.
Since its inception, Lifeline has answered over 23 million calls. Now with 41 centres across Australia, Lifeline has saved countless lives and steadfastly maintained its commitment to supporting people in crisis.
Included in this pack are a variety of resources to help your congregation celebrate 60 years of Lifeline and the legacy of Rev Alan Walker.
Wesley Mission have produced posters and social media posts for Congregations to download and share.
