Securing Faith-Based Places Grant Program Now Open
The Securing Faith-Based Places grant program by the Australian Government provides $40 million over four years to improve security at religious schools, pre-schools, places of worship, and faith-based community centres.
The grant can be used to install or upgrade security infrastructure or engage security guards at your site. This includes, but is not limited to:
- security camera systems
- access controls
- fences and gates
- security lighting
- security windows
- alarm systems, and
- engagement of licenced security guards.
Applications for funding can be submitted until 5pm AEST on 11 September 2023.
